Job description

Why This Role Matters

At Helios Consulting, we go beyond implementation to help clients unlock the full potential of Workday. Our team of top-tier Workday professionals combines deep functional and technical knowledge with real-world insight, all united by a relentless focus on delivering meaningful business outcomes that scale.

We’re looking for a Workday Principal Consultant, Integrations to join our high-impact team. In this role, you’ll drive results for leading organizations by delivering scalable, end-to-end integration solutions. This is a client-facing consulting role as much as a technical one. You will partner directly with stakeholders to shape strategy, guide decisions, and deliver integrations, combining advisory leadership with hands-on execution. This balance is core to the role and sets it apart from traditional integration-focused positions.

At Helios, you’ll work closely with clients and decision-makers to create lasting impact, alongside a team of experts known for their depth, curiosity, and commitment to helping organizations maximize their Workday investment. If you’re ready to elevate your career, Helios is where you can do your best work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Translate business goals into seamless, scalable Workday integrations that deliver impact

  • Lead client-facing design and advisory sessions, aligning business needs and technical solutions

  • Own client relationships for integration workstreams, balancing advisory leadership with hands-on technical solution delivery

  • Build and manage Workday integrations using tools like Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Orchestrate and EIBs

  • Ensure seamless deployment by executing comprehensive testing and validation processes

  • Provide expert guidance on integration best practices, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending solutions that optimize performance and long-term scalability

  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation and integration design specifications

  • Tackle complex integration challenges with confidence, creativity, resourcefulness, and a solution-oriented mindset

  • Share knowledge and elevate team capabilities by mentoring consultants and supporting skill development across the team

  • Serve as a trusted partner—within Helios and our clients—focused on outcomes over outputs

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to balance advisory responsibilities with hands-on technical delivery

  • Demonstrated expertise designing, building, and delivering Workday integrations, including proficiency with Workday Studio and Orchestrate

  • Strong command of Workday’s integration framework, toolset, and deployment methodology

  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, REST, SOAP, and related web service technologies

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues with precision and efficiency

  • Skilled at translating technical concepts into clear language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and alignment across teams and clients

  • Ability to tackle challenges with curiosity, structured problem-solving, and a focus on continuous improvement

  • Demonstrated success supporting and developing others through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge transfer — with a commitment to building team capability and strengthening our collective expertise

  • Must be U.S.-based and authorized to work without sponsorship

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We’re committed to creating an environment where you can thrive both professionally and personally. We believe in doing great work together, supporting each other’s growth, and making space for balance.

Here’s what you can expect as part of our team:
