Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver complex reports to Account Managers; create training materials for Sales and Account Managers on Drug and Occupational Health services
  • Mentor junior departmental staff and participate in client calls with Sales and Account Managers

Job Title:  Sr. Drug and Occupational Health Specialist 

Department: Operations - Drug and Occupational Health

Reports To: VP of Drug and Occupational Health

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Remote

Compensation:  $21.63-$24.04 per hour 

Schedule: 7:00am-4:00pm PST

Location: This is a remote position; however, due to compliance reasons we can only consider candidates residing in one of these eligible states: AL, AZ, CO, GA, IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV

Requirements

Job Summary:  The Senior Drug and Occupational Health Specialist position acts as a liaison for Third-Party Administrators, Laboratories, Internal Personnel, Clients, and Client Applicants. This position emphasizes commitment to ensuring clients receive accurate results from our network of trusted collection sites. Key responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day workflow including timely updates to inquiries. The Specialist should be comfortable addressing program inefficiencies and providing innovative input to improve internal processes. This position is integral to maintaining a seamless and effective Drug and Occupational Health program at AccuSourceHR, Inc. 


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead High Level Escalations
  • Monitor and ensure clients are following Federal, State and local laws and regulations. (FMCSA, PHMSA) etc.
  • Provide client solutions to better there programs with the Account Managers and Sales Team
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering timely solutions.
  • Preparation and delivery of complex reports to Account Managers
  • Lead investigations into complex compliance issues and provide resolution strategies.
  • Mentor junior departmental staff and assist in their questions.
  • Create training for Sales and Account Managers on Drug and Occupational Health services.
  • Participate in client calls with Sales and Account Managers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Degree or equivalent in Drug and Occupational Health and/or Medical Field
  • Required: Minimum 2 years' experience working in the Drug and Occupational Health industry
  • Preferred: 6 years' experience working in background industry

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have a dedicated and ergonomic workspace at home conducive to focused work.
  • Access to a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Adequate lighting and minimal background noise to support professional video calls and meetings.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally, for tasks such as setting up a workstation or equipment.
  • The ability to work comfortably and effectively in a home environment that meets ergonomic standards, including proper seating and desk setup.
