Job description

This is a remote position.

A security consulting firm requires an experienced Virtual Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to its founder. As the operational backbone of the business, you will manage a global workflow, ensuring seamless coordination for a business that advises on critical national infrastructure and large-scale developments. This 20-hour-per-week role is designed for a professional who enjoys high levels of autonomy and is looking for a long-term, remote partnership with a scaling organisation. R220 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Coordination: Manage a complex global diary, orchestrating appointments across multiple time zones with precision.

  • Document Architecture: Draft and format technical proposals and reports using established templates within the Microsoft 365 suite.

  • Administrative Workflow: Execute daily tasks independently, managing a workflow where priorities are set for the following business day.

  • Liaison Management: Handle professional email correspondence with high-profile clients, maintaining a polished and discreet tone.

  • Project Tracking: Monitor deadlines for active consulting bids and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and submitted on time.

  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide occasional assistance with marketing materials and graphic formatting for presentations.



Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in an Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or Professional Administrative role, preferably supporting consultants or senior leadership.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential for complex document production and data management.

  • Communication: Exceptional written English skills (UK standard) with a flair for professional, corporate correspondence.

  • Infrastructure: A fully equipped, professional home office with a stable, high-speed internet connection and power redundancy (UPS/Inverter).

  • Work Style: A self-starting, solution-focused mindset; ability to work unsupervised and solve problems independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting international clients, specifically in the UK.

Required Software Skills

  • Microsoft Office 365 (Expert Word and Excel)

  • Microsoft Outlook

  • SharePoint

  • Adobe Acrobat
