WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are actively seeking a Senior UiPath Automation Engineer with deep hands-on delivery experience and a strong foundation in intelligent automation design and implementation. This role is ideal for a technically strong developer who brings expertise across the UiPath platform, a solid understanding of AI-powered automation capabilities, and the maturity to operate independently in a fast-paced financial services consulting environment. The ideal candidate combines excellent engineering discipline with strong communication skills and a passion for building scalable, high-quality automation solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Reporting to our Senior UiPath Automation Engineer / Team Lead, as a Full-Time Specialist on our team, you will work fully remote during this 8-week engagement to design, develop, and enhance UiPath automation solutions aligned to business requirements, architectural standards, and enterprise security controls.
You will be a core contributor across the full automation development lifecycle, working closely with the Team Lead, architects, QA, and client stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-structured automations. A key area of focus for this role is UiPath’s Intelligent Document Processing capabilities, and candidates with hands-on AI Center and Document Understanding experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) required
- 5+ years of hands-on UiPath development experience, including some exposure to solution design and architecture-level decisions
- Strong proficiency across core UiPath components including Studio, Orchestrator, Attended and Unattended Robots, and REFramework
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Document Understanding and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), including digitization, classification, data extraction, and validation workflows
- Working knowledge of UiPath AI Center, including ML Skill consumption, model deployment, and integration of AI-powered capabilities into automation workflows
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming with C# and/or VB.NET as primary languages; Python or PowerShell experience a plus
- Solid understanding of Orchestrator configuration including queue management, asset management, robot provisioning, schedules, and monitoring
- Working knowledge of UiPath Automation Cloud or Automation Suite deployment environments; ability to operate confidently within client-defined infrastructure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to exception handling, logging, and build resilience
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with familiarity with sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and collaborative delivery practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document automation designs clearly and participate effectively in client-facing delivery activities
- Experience in financial services or banking environments preferred, with an understanding of compliance, auditability, and data handling standards
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop UiPath automation solutions aligned with business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and client security controls
- Build and enhance automation workflows using Studio and REFramework, adhering to development best practices, naming conventions, and exception handling standards
- Implement UiPath Document Understanding and IDP solutions, including taxonomy configuration, extractor setup, validation station integration, and output data handling
- Consume and integrate UiPath AI Center ML Skills within automation workflows, including handling model confidence scores and triggering human-in-the-loop validation where required
- Configure and manage Orchestrator components including queues, assets, schedules, robot provisioning, and environment management
- Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to continuously improve solution quality and adherence to guardrails
- Collaborate with the Team Lead and solution architects on design decisions, integration patterns, and platform configuration questions
- Leverage AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to accelerate development velocity, improve code quality, and reduce automation fragility
- Support integration testing, defect resolution, and release activities in coordination with QA and DevOps teams
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automation package deployment using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives as an active contributor to Agile delivery
- Document automation designs, process definition documents (PDDs), solution design documents (SDDs), and operational runbooks to support handoff and long-term maintainability
- Support client demonstrations, sprint reviews, and stakeholder walkthroughs with clear and confident communication of technical delivery progress
- Contribute to the growth and maturity of the Automation Practice through knowledge sharing, reusable asset development, and participation in internal communities of practice
