Job Summary

The Contract Development Specialist supports the development, administration, and ongoing governance of largescale public sector contracts. This role works closely with Contract & Business Development leadership to ensure contract requirements, documentation, thirdparty participation, and administrative processes are executed accurately and consistently.

This position is designed for an individual who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven, and who is looking to grow their experience supporting complex public sector contract programs.

Role Description

Contract Development & Administration Support 

  • Assist with the administration of largescale, multi-entity public sector contracts. 

  • Support contract development activities, including documentation review, tracking requirements, and maintaining organized records. 

  • Track contract obligations that require approvals, documentation, or ongoing oversight. 

  • Assist with onboarding activities related to participating entities and partners. 

Documentation, Tracking & Governance 

  • Maintain accurate records of contract documentation, approvals, and compliance materials. 

  • Support the development and upkeep of trackers, logs, and internal reference materials. 

  • Help ensure contract requirements are followed consistently across stakeholders. 

  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing documentation and flag for review. 

Third-Party & Partner Support 

  • Assist with administrative support for third-party providers or subcontractors. 

  • Help collect, organize, and track required documentation (e.g., agreements, certifications, insurance). 

  • Support internal teams by ensuring third-party information is complete and up to date. 

Process & Operational Support 

  • Support the creation and documentation of repeatable administrative processes. 

  • Follow established procedures and escalation paths. 

  • Assist with preparing summaries, reports, and internal documentation to support contract oversight.

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales position (inside/outside) or partner/vendor support or accounting specialist, purchasing, hardware or software role with experience working with customers or vendors

  • 1-3 years of Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite - Word and Track Changes, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary, are $60,000 - $85,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
