Senior Technical IT-Consultant
YOUR IMPACT
This role allows you to work in a highly visible, customer-facing position where you make a measurable impact by owning complex environments and delivering premium service outcomes across EMEA with a focus on Customers in Public Sector in the Italian market.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Deliver a white-glove application run service, meeting SLAs while ensuring excellent customer experience within agreed budgetary frameworks.
- Take end to end ownership of operational outcomes, proactively identifying risks and driving continuous service and performance improvements.
- Provide technical delivery for assigned customers in Italy and across the EMEA region.
- Lead incident and problem resolution, including health checks, root cause analysis, and optimization of OpenText solution operations and performance.
- Act as a key escalation point for complex issues, coordinating with internal teams to deliver sustainable and high-quality outcomes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Degree in Computer Science (or comparable long-term IT experience) with 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical support or consulting for OpenText applications
- Strong expertise in server environments (Windows, Linux) and databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
- Working knowledge of web application servers (IIS, Tomcat), scripting/programming, and basic tool development
- ITIL certification with proven ability to independently assess issues, identify optimization opportunities, and own solutions end to end
- Exposure to cloud, AI technologies, containerization, and Kubernetes is a strong advantage
- Ability to mentor junior consultants and collaborate effectively across technical and customer-facing teams
- Fluent Italian and English language skills (additional languages a plus) with EU citizenship required (Italian citizenship is an advantage)
