This is a remote position.
We are hiring a Client Onboarding & Service Manager to manage the client experience for our US-based accounting and tax clients.
This is a highly client-facing role that sits between our US CPA team and the India production team. You will regularly interact with clients through virtual meetings and phone calls, ensuring they clearly understand our services, their financial reports, and next steps.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for onboarding new clients, explaining financial reports in a simple manner, and maintaining strong ongoing communication and relationships with clients.
This role does NOT involve bookkeeping, accounting review, or financial quality control.
Conduct onboarding virtual meetings with new clients
Explain:
Service scope
Process and timelines
Client responsibilities
Guide clients on document submission and workflow
Coordinate internally with the production team for smooth onboarding
Explain financial reports to clients in a simple, non-technical manner:
Profit & Loss (P&L)
Basic cash flow understanding
Answer basic accounting and simple tax-related questions
Ensure clients understand their numbers and business position
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
Respond to client emails and queries within defined timelines
Follow up for missing documents and information
Maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction
Escalate complex issues to internal teams or CPA
Coordinate between:
Clients
India Production Team (Accounting)
US CPA (Tax & Advisory)
Assist in organizing documents for tax and accounting work
Support light project coordination (non-technical)
