What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking an experienced, execution‑focused team member to join our team as a Business/Product Lead on a large, mission‑critical Federal technology and services program. Guidehouse is responsible for operating and sustaining a complex Federal platform that supports multiple agencies and a broad user community through GrantSolutions (www.GrantSolutions.gov).
In this role, you will partner closely with program management and senior program leadership to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑quality technology and services delivery. You will be accountable for execution and service delivery across assigned business/product area functions and offering strategic guidance on grants business processes, policies and regulations, understanding business needs and offering creative solutions, and ensuring the successful end-to-end processing of grants from application to award (as it relates to assigned business/product area).
The person in this position is expected to be a strategic thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills and with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Occasional travel could be required. While position can be remote, team member is expected to be located around the Washington, D.C. area and come into the Guidehouse Tysons and/or Rockville office locations as needed. Additionally, travel to the client site in Washington, DC may be needed for meetings on occasion.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with Program Operations to continuously mature data-driven processes and decisions in support of GS program-wide goals.
Conduct product demos, briefings, management and coordination of the business development or support processes.
Relationship building, identification of key roles, stakeholders, and defining organizational hierarchy and decision points.
Execution of schedule and project management over product area and/or business area.
Evaluate opportunities for expansion of services at current or prospective partners through business process optimization exercises and business process analysis.
Provide advisory services to discuss, demonstrate and make partners aware of additional services, capabilities and functions not currently being utilized.
Collaborate with Partner Services and Partnership Development teams to identify opportunities to improve overall service delivery to its partners.
Conduct market research, including compiling information an various non-GrantSoultions partner agencies, grant budget, current system, etc.
Provide project management oversight with collaboration responsibilities with the Director of Partner Services and Director of Partnership Development to manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver services.
Assist with managing resources to include task assignment, monitoring of weekly activities, review of weekly and monthly reports, and capacity review/future work planning, including but not limited to organizing and updating project schedules for multiple concurrent onboarding and fit/gap projects.
Assist in documenting the existing Partner review process in support of the Partner onboarding/expansion.
Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly status reporting to executive management and Federal leadership.
Identify risks and issues to service delivery and ensure that appropriate risk mitigation procedures are followed.
Perform timesheet approvals and people management to include performance related activities and professional development.
Identify, assess, develop, and deliver the internal team training needs of the organization for assigned business/product area to ensure effective service delivery in accordance with GrantSolutions standards.
Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance. Assess employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
Lead the development of a training curriculum for team members for continuing education/new education systems and modules.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting federal grants management systems or complex government IT systems.
Subject Matter Expert in at least one GrantSolutions module (GMM, ARM, AM).
Hands-on experience with system configuration and functional integration.
Ability to translate business requirements into system functionality.
Must be local to Washington DC metro-area
Experience leading technology or service delivery for a large‑scale, software‑based Federal grant system, including ongoing operations and support.
Experience working directly with Federal clients and stakeholders on delivery execution and issue resolution
Strong operational and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive follow‑through.
Proven written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior program leadership, and the ability to explain policies, procedures, and technical information clearly and accurately
Experience identifying, escalating, and mitigating delivery and operational risks
Mastery of the range of project management skills from developing plans through successful execution to closeout
Experience in providing mentorship and one-on-one professional development
Experience in supervising mid-sized teams (>20 team members)
Experience providing customer support for a large business system or supporting or promoting IT development projects
Ability to comfortably interface with senior level management
Strong experience with and understanding of Federal Government information needs, Federal grants lifecycle processes, and compliance considerations
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience operating in a matrixed organization and partnering across internal practices and corporate support teams
Business process improvement experience
Experience performing cost/benefit analysis
Experience using an internal ticketing system (such as Salesforce)
Experience supporting integrations with financial systems or payment platforms
Prior experience supporting Federal agency grant system onboarding efforts
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field
