Application Engineer - Paving, Compaction, and Milling (Civil Construction)

This is a specialized technical position where you will serve as the primary "go-to" expert for our Roadworks and PCS solutions. You will join a high-impact global team, traveling across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to empower our partners and directly influence the development of next-generation construction technology.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical training and continuous support to Trimble’s distribution network on specialized paving and milling solutions.

  • Lead the end-to-end instruction for system installation, commissioning, and operation for distribution teams.

  • Spearhead the roll-out of new product features and system capabilities to the global market.

  • Act as a critical link between the field and product development by translating technical feedback into insights for Product Managers.

  • Support high-profile marketing and sales events, including international exhibitions and open days.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience in civil construction, specifically focused on paving, milling, or compaction.

  • Technical proficiency with CAD software and 3D modeling applications.

  • Working knowledge of optical total stations and field software.

  • Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.

  • A proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to handle sensitive technical situations effectively.

  • Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on technical knowledge and customer needs.

Bonus Points For

  • Proficiency in additional languages.

  • Experience with 3D machine control system installation or troubleshooting.

Logistics

Location: Europe, Middle East, or Africa (Remote/Hybrid)

Travel Requirement: 50% - 75%
