AIS is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer for an contract supporting a federal customer in a hybrid role in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area.
Key Responsibilities
Supports the operation of the cloud backbone for network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for cloud network architectures.
Administer, monitor, install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of systems.
Conducts testing of network design
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or closely related degree).
At least 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software, virtual appliances, interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, switches, gateways, etc.
Understands how commodity cloud servers, operating systems and networks function, perform and scale.
Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.

Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems
