What you’ll do…

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in pre-sales support to solution customization and acting as a technical expert for our potential customers. As a pivotal member of the sales team, you will be responsible for understanding the unique technical needs of potential clients along with demonstrating how our solutions can address those needs. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver value to our customers and users.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Expertise - Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, and stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively communicate our unique value proposition.

  • Pre-Sales Support - Execute the sales process, collaborating with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, providing technical expertise through the sales cycle. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects, tailoring content to their needs.

  • Solution Customization - analyze client requirements and propose tailored solutions that meet their facility management needs. Work with the Product team to communicate client feedback and requirements for future product enhancements.

  • Collaboration - work with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive revenue growth and enhance product offerings.

What we’re looking for…

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a high-growth and team-oriented environment. We don’t expect you to check every box, but the ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration)

  • 2-4 years experience as a Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role, preferably in the SAAS industry

  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience in facility management, building automation, or related industries is a plus

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Hubspot) and technical demonstration tools

Compensation: $85-100k base salary plus commission (OTE $105-130k). Salary ranges are determined by location, level, experience, and skills. This will be discussed further with the Talent team during the interview process.
