DATA ARCHITECT

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Architect to provide architectural leadership for a large-scale provincial digital health platform. This platform manages immunization records, appointment booking, and public health reporting. The Data Architect will be responsible for ensuring the platform's data ecosystem is secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise data standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
  
• Strong expertise in enterprise data platforms, including Salesforce data architecture and ecosystem integration.
  
• Demonstrated experience designing secure, scalable data integrations, pipelines, and API-based data exchanges.
  
• Experience working within healthcare or public sector environments, preferably in digital health.
  
• Experience working with central registries — ideally Client and Provider Registries — in a healthcare or public sector context.
  
• Experience designing data structures to support reports and analytics performance, usability, and consistency in downstream use.
  
• Understanding of the use of reports and metrics in a healthcare setting.
  
• Ability to design systems that serve multiple audiences — both clinical and business users.
  
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security compliance requirements.
  
• Proven ability to translate business and clinical requirements into data models, data flows, and architecture designs.
  
• Experience providing data architecture governance, conducting design reviews, and ensuring adherence to enterprise data standards.
