This is a remote position.

Project Description:

Digital Health, a Shared Health service, will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology.  The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

·       Valid PMP Certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.

·       Valid ProSci (ADKAR) Change Management Certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.

 

Skill and Experience:

·       15 years’ experience as a project manager in a healthcare environment developing project plans and budgets, monitoring project performance against tolerances, and reporting progress to the project steering committee.  The response should include at least 3 examples including project title and duration of the projects that total at least 15 years.  At least 1 example should be a project director role overseeing the work of other project managers and providing coaching and feedback.

·       7 years’ experience as a project manager working on software development projects in the healthcare sector.  The response should include at least 3 examples, including the project title and duration of the project, totaling at least 7 years.  One example should include experience using Agile Project Management. Examples should provide specific details of work performed.

·       5 years’ experience utilizing a structured methodology such as PROSCI to deliver organizational change management strategies and plans in a healthcare setting. The response should include at least 2 examples, including the project title and duration of the project, totaling at least 5 years, and specifying the methodology applied.

·       3 years’ experience developing business cases with input from multiple sites, assessing cost and savings providing options and recommendations.  The response should include at least 1 example, including the duration of the project or work that totals at least 3 years.

·       3 years’ experience managing the implementation of Staff Scheduling workforce management software projects. Experience should include Standardizing HR/payroll/scheduling reports. The response should include at least 2 examples, including the duration of the project or work, totaling at least 3 years.

·       2 years of experience as a project manager working on projects relating to the implementation of a patient safety and critical incident reporting solution in a healthcare setting. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 2 years.

·       1 year of experience as a project manager working on projects relating to physiological monitoring devices in a healthcare setting. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year.
