Job Role: Data Analyst- Insurance

Location: Remote (Canada/USA)

Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to help transform data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. You will work closely with the Arrowhead Intermediaries Data Leadership team and cross-functional partners to support data initiatives, uncover trends, and contribute to building a strong data-driven culture

Key Responsibilities

Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and insights
Translate business needs into data analysis and clearly communicate findings
Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau
Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
Collaborate with business and technology teams on key initiatives
Support data quality efforts, documentation, and ad hoc analysis
Identify data gaps and suggest improvements

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
Proven experience working in a Data Analyst or similar role
Strong SQL skills
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with Python, R, or Databricks
Knowledge of data modeling concepts
Experience in Finance or Insurance (nice to have)
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum
