Job description

Job Title: Majesco Solution Architect
Location: Remote (Travel required to client location in Illinois as needed)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Majesco Solution Architect with strong expertise in the insurance domain to design and deliver scalable solutions for enterprise-level implementations. The ideal candidate will lead requirement discussions, define solution architecture, and ensure successful execution aligned with business and technology goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design end-to-end solution architecture to meet client business and process objectives
Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
Develop high-level and low-level design for applications/product suites
Drive solution architecture across multiple applications within the enterprise ecosystem
Lead product implementation from a solution and technology perspective
Support project execution, ensuring alignment with architectural standards
Prepare and review effort estimations and contribute to planning
Support pre-sales activities including solutioning and client presentations
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure solution quality and compliance

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong domain expertise in P&C (Property & Casualty) and/or L&A (Life & Annuities) Insurance across North America, India, APAC, or UK markets
Hands-on experience with Majesco platform (ICD/ICM modules)
Proficiency in UML-based analysis and design (e.g., Rational Rose, TogetherJ)
Experience with business rules engines and workflow design
Strong Java-based object-oriented design and development experience
Expertise in both high-level and detailed technical design
Proven experience in conducting requirement workshops and understanding business processes
Knowledge of framework-based architecture design for functional and non-functional requirements
Experience leading teams of software engineers/technical specialists
Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and database design
