Job description

Education Recruitment Consultant (UK Market)

Remote (South Africa)

Location Remote – South Africa

Working UK hours

About the Company

We are a fast-growing UK education recruitment agency supplying teachers and education support staff to UK schools. Operating in a highly competitive, fast-moving market, we focus on speed, quality, and strong candidate relationships, supported by robust systems and technology. Our consultants manage multiple live vacancies at any given time and are supported by tech, job boards, and structured processes β€” but success ultimately comes down to drive, activity, and execution.

The Role

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for UK education roles, placing teachers and support staff into long-term and permanent positions. This is a performance-driven role with uncapped commission and clear earning potential for consultants who move quickly, follow up consistently, and build strong candidate pipelines.

Typical Vacancies
Teaching roles (Primary, Secondary, SEN)
Education support staff

You will typically manage 2–5 live vacancies at any one time, increasing as you settle into the role (around the 3-month mark).

How the Recruitment Process Works

Vacancy is added to the system (HubSpot) and posted to job boards
You source and consult with candidates via the system and job boards
Conduct deep-dive candidate consultations (not CV-forwarding)
Present and sell candidates to the UK Consultant for UK schools
Once approved by the consultant, you earn your first commission & you can send that candidate to multiple roles

To earn comms, you:

Send out registration forms
Chase compliance and documentation
Candidate starts work & has worked 10 days, you earn your 2nd commission
Speed, follow-up, and activity are critical β€” the market moves fast, and delays cost placements.

Requirements

4 - 5 years of experience in recruitment and/or sales is necessary.
Experience in the education recruitment sector is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates effectively.
Must take initiative and be proactive in sourcing and engaging candidates.
Technologically savvy, preferably with experience using Hubspot and/or Zoho Recruit.
Proficiency in using CRM systems or recruitment software is desirable.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

If you have a passion for education and are driven to make a positive impact through recruitment, we'd love to hear from you. Join our team and be part of our mission to empower educators and transform lives.
