Test Engineer

We are seeking an early career Test Engineer who will test, certify, and ensure that projects and/or system changes are correctly implemented and functioning as expected.

We are looking for a Test Engineer who will:

• Review the overall architecture of basic hardware, software, and networking systems by composing a simple test plan script, executing the tests, documenting the results, and analyzing the output.

• Identifies data needed for test, and creates new data or obtains existing data to meet requirements of the test.

• Work with test and defect management tools, test automation tools, and scripting languages to complete basic tasks.

• Perform automated and manual test execution for functional, application, regression, and integration tests.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience

• 1+ year of related experience in testing or software development

• Basic SQL knowledge

• Basic IT knowledge in software testing; research, design, methodologies/processes, implementation and documentation

• Basic knowledge of testing tools and/or evaluation of testing tools

• Basic knowledge of test plan development and test environments

• Basic skills in planning and organizing test plan execution

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
