Roles & Responsibilities

Degree in translation, linguistics or language studies (or equivalent) with significant translation training from a recognized institution
Degree in any field with the equivalent of two years of full-time professional translation experience

Requirements:

Translate technical content from English (US) and German (DE) to Dutch (NL), focusing on tennis terminology
Maintain terminology consistency using memoQ CAT tool
Ensure quality and accuracy aligned with ISO 17100 standards, including self-review or editor collaboration
Deliver translations within agreed deadlines and follow client specifications and style guides

We are currently looking for freelance translators:

Language combinations:

English (US)/German (DE) to Dutch (NL)

Specializations:

Technical - Tennis terminology

Requirements
We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria (ISO 17100):

a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
c) have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

Other requirements:

- CAT tools experience (memoQ)
