Roles & Responsibilities

Degree in translation, linguistics or language studies (or equivalent) with significant translation training from a recognized higher education institution
Degree in any other field from a recognized institution with two years of full-time professional translation experience
Five years of full-time professional translation experience
CAT tools experience, specifically memoQ

Requirements:

Translate documents from English (US) to Hindi in Healthcare and Human Resources domains with accuracy and cultural appropriateness
Apply appropriate terminology and maintain consistency using memoQ translation memories and terminology databases
Ensure deliverables meet client specifications and ISO 17100 quality standards; adhere to project timelines
Communicate with clients/project managers for clarifications and provide progress updates

This is a remote position

We are currently looking for freelance translators:

Language combinations:

English (US) into Hindi

Specializations:

Healthcare
Human Resources

Specific knowledge ==> US market

Requirements
We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria (ISO 17100):

a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
c) have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

Other requirements:

- CAT tools experience (memoQ)
