This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Define, implement, and manage the QA strategy, processes, and governance for custom .NET/Blazor-based applications.
Lead QA planning, test case design, execution, and reporting across policy admin, underwriting, and claims workflows.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure requirements clarity, proper coverage, and alignment with business outcomes.
Drive automation strategy for UI and API testing (preferred tools: Selenium, Rest Assured, Playwright, or equivalent).
Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for .NET/Blazor/C# applications.
Ensure strong defect management and reporting practices, providing metrics and dashboards to stakeholders.
Mentor QA team members on both insurance domain knowledge and test automation practices.
Engage in UAT support and coordination with business teams, ensuring readiness for production deployments.
Continuously evaluate QA tools, practices, and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
QA Leadership: 7 to 10 years in QA with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
Technology Exposure: Strong experience with .NET, Blazor (Server & WebAssembly), and C# custom development environments.
Domain Knowledge: Hands-on QA/BA experience in Claims, Policy Admin, and Underwriting in P&C Insurance; Commercial Property LOB preferred.
Testing Expertise: Strong skills in functional, regression, integration, and automation testing.
Automation Exposure: Experience in designing and executing automated test suites for web and APIs.
Agile/DevOps: Hands-on experience in Agile projects and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Collaboration & Reporting: Strong communication skills, with ability to present QA status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
