Job Title: Senior .NET Developer (Insurance Domain)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with 10+ years of hands-on expertise in C# and ASP.NET. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications, with a strong focus on the insurance domain. Experience with the Origami Insurance product suite is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using ASP.NET and C#
Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions within the insurance domain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and product owners
Develop and integrate APIs, web services, and third-party systems
Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
Contribute to architecture discussions and system design decisions
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
Work effectively in an onsite-offshore delivery model

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in .NET development
Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET (MVC/Web API)
Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns
Hands-on experience with SQL Server and database design
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Origami Insurance product suite will be a strong advantage
Proven experience working in the insurance domain (e.g., Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting)
Understanding of insurance business processes and workflows
Experience working in onsite-offshore collaboration models

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with Origami Insurance product suite
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
