This is a remote position.

A globally recognised leader in yoga therapy and mental health training is seeking a highly articulate and tech-savvy Social Media & Content Coordinator for 20 hours a week. This is a pivotal role focused on storytelling, community engagement, and strategic outreach within a highly niche and specialised sector.

Rather than just "posting content," the successful candidate will be the voice of the brand, responsible for creating compelling newsletters, building relationships with industry influencers on social media, and staying at the forefront of AI-driven marketing trends. This role requires a unique combination of high-level writing ability and a deep, intuitive understanding of the yoga world to effectively communicate with a sophisticated global audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Draft high-quality newsletters and social media copy for LinkedIn and Facebook that resonates with a niche, yoga-literate audience.

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a consistent marketing schedule, focusing on vision, storytelling, and brand consistency.

  • Active Outreach & Relationship Building: Proactively engage with key influencers, partners, and community members on social media to foster long-term professional relationships.

  • AI Workflow Integration: Leverage evolving AI tools (beyond ChatGPT/Jasper) to streamline content creation, stay ahead of industry trends, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Community Management: Monitor social media channels, responding to engagement and ensuring the firm remains a central part of relevant industry conversations.

  • Asset Creation: Design and curate visual and written assets that align with the specific aesthetic and therapeutic values of the organisation.



Requirements

  • Yoga Industry Knowledge: A foundational understanding or personal experience in the yoga world is essential to ensure content accuracy and audience relatability.

  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Proven ability to write sophisticated, error-free business English with a flair for storytelling.

  • Strategic Outreach Experience: Demonstrated success in using social media (particularly LinkedIn) for networking and relationship development, not just broadcast posting.

  • AI Proficiency: High level of curiosity and competence regarding AI marketing tools and their application in content strategy.

  • Professional Maturity: Ability to manage a 20-hour weekly workload independently while maintaining a high standard of output.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in marketing for wellness, mental health, or therapeutic education.

  • A portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns, newsletter drafting, and community growth.

  • University Degree, ideally an MA, but BA or BSc is essential

  • AI Marketing Tools (Advanced proficiency)

  • LinkedIn & Facebook Business Suite

  • Newsletter Platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar)

  • Basic Graphic Design tools (e.g: Canva)

  • Slack & Google Workspace
