Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Principal Integration Manager to support large-scale automation and material handling initiatives. This individual will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for driving system integration, commissioning, and stabilization efforts across complex projects. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Required:
Strong experience with warehouse automation and material handling systems
Hands-on background in system integration, commissioning, and testing
Experience working across controls, software, and mechanical/electrical systems
Proven ability to lead onsite technical execution and drive project outcomes
Experience troubleshooting live systems and stabilizing production environments
Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience with automation technologies such as AS/RS, conveyors, sortation systems, AGVs, or monorails
Exposure to realization activities such as functional specifications, interface design, and validation
Experience mentoring or leading integration engineers
Familiarity with WMS or WCS platforms
Responsibilities:
Lead onsite commissioning, integration, and testing efforts for complex automation systems
Own execution of integration plans through system go-live and stabilization
Coordinate across controls, software, mechanical, and vendor teams to ensure alignment
Drive issue resolution, defect tracking, and overall system performance improvements
Support system acceptance testing (SAT/UAT) and customer ramp-up activities
Act as the primary technical escalation point for integration and performance challenges
Provide input during earlier project phases to ensure readiness for execution
Mentor and guide junior engineers and Integration Managers
The yearly salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
