We are a US company with presence in LATAM and experience in the area of near-shore outsourcing, technology, software development, education and digital transformation. We are currently looking for a SAP S/4 HANA Principal Architect to join our team.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Principal Architect with a focus on overseeing a critical S/4 HANA migration project from on-premises to the cloud. In this role, the candidate will leverage their extensive expertise in SAP architecture, integration, and process engineering to analyze requirements and design comprehensive system specifications. With a minimum of 10-15 years of experience, including hands-on involvement in SAP configuration, functionality, technical support, and implementation, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the migration initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural aspects of the SAP S/4 HANA migration project from on-premises to the cloud.
- Analyze project requirements and design comprehensive system specifications for the migration, ensuring alignment with SAP S/4 HANA, cloud architecture, and integration.
- Provide expertise in SAP S/4 HANA modules, focusing on configuration, functionality, technical support, and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and document well-performing, scaling, and resilient deployment scenarios for SAP S/4 HANA on the cloud.
- Script and implement reliable automation tools to efficiently test SAP S/4 HANA workloads on the selected cloud platform.
- Work closely with cloud development teams to roll out planned maintenance changes and test SAP workloads on the cloud infrastructure.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex customer scenarios related to SAP S/4 HANA migration on the cloud.
- Provide support and guidance to customer-facing personnel in promoting SAP S/4 HANA workload scenarios on cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 10-15 years of experience in SAP architecture, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA.
- In-depth experience within SAP, demonstrating knowledge of configuration, functionality, technical support, and implementation.
- 4+ years of experience in SAP migration from on-premises to cloud
- Proven track record in SAP BASIS architecture with at least 10 years of experience.
- Proficiency in SAP HA/DR design
[GM1] and SAP operational best practices.
- 6+ years of experience and technical expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux - SLES or RHEL, UNIX
[GM2] ), with a focus on performance analysis, debugging, and HA/DR technologies.
- Strong relational database management system (RDBMS) skills, including SAP HANA and additional databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MaxDB).
- Experience with hyper-visor/cloud/networking technologies, with proficiency in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions based on cloud platforms.
- English B2+ is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DBMS query languages, such as SQL
- Proven troubleshooting skills in SAP S/4 HANA migration projects.
- A reliable record of delivering and deploying reliable, highly available, and scalable SAP architectures to customers.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different layers of customer organizations, and capable of articulating complex solutions and problems clearly.
- SAP certification is desirable but not necessary.
