Position: DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Salary range: up to ₱85,000+ Php (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)

Working Hours: Following New Zealand business hours

Work set-up: 100% Remote work under Independent Contractor Agreement

Holidays: New Zealand

Recruitment process: candidate to provide portfolio/sample works, video introduction and 1 client interview

As the business continues to scale globally, it is strengthening its digital marketing capability to drive online revenue growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance retention across key digital touchpoints.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist role with ownership across core performance and retention marketing channels. The position is highly execution-focused and best suited to a marketer who can independently manage end-to-end campaign delivery—from strategy and creative development through to execution and optimisation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the business owner and contribute across multiple eCommerce brands under the same portfolio, supporting broader digital marketing initiatives and growth objectives.

The role will play a key part in driving customer acquisition, increasing repeat purchases, and improving overall eCommerce performance through data-driven marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Email Marketing (Primary Focus)

  • Plan, build, and execute email campaigns using Omnisend
  • Develop automated workflows including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, retention, and re-engagement sequences
  • Design email layouts, creatives, and supporting copy aligned with brand direction
  • Segment audiences and optimise campaigns based on performance insights
  • Drive customer retention, repeat purchases, and lifetime value growth

2. Paid Media Management

  • Manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Develop full-funnel campaign strategies covering prospecting, retargeting, and conversion
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates
  • Manage and allocate advertising budgets effectively across channels

3. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

  • Improve organic visibility for key product categories and landing pages
  • Conduct keyword research and optimise Shopify product pages, collections, and content
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices across the eCommerce site

4. Organic Social Media Support

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media content as required
  • Align organic posts with paid campaigns and product launches
  • Maintain consistent messaging across all digital channels

5. Shopify Website Management (Basic)

  • Update and maintain Shopify store content including products, collections, and landing pages
  • Support the creation of campaign-specific landing pages
  • Assist with website updates for promotions and product launches

6. Creative & Campaign Development

  • Develop marketing assets using Canva, Adobe, or AI-based tools
  • Produce cohesive campaign creatives across email, ads, and website
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across multiple brands

7. Marketing Planning

  • Support the development and execution of an annual marketing calendar across multiple brands
  • Align campaigns with product launches, promotions, and seasonal opportunities
  • Coordinate multi-channel campaigns for integrated execution

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Proven experience in digital marketing within an eCommerce environment (Shopify preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Email marketing platforms (Omnisend preferred)
    • Google Ads
    • Meta Ads Manager
  • Ability to manage and prioritise campaigns across multiple brands
  • Ability to execute campaigns end-to-end (strategy, build, launch, optimisation)
  • Experience creating digital marketing assets using Canva, Adobe, or AI tools
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and Shopify best practices
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and act on performance data

Nice to Have

  • Experience in wellness, skincare, supplements, or FMCG industries
  • Exposure to international eCommerce markets
  • Experience in conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
  • Experience in campaign planning and marketing calendar development across multiple brands
