Job description

Position: LOAN PROCESSOR (MORTGAGE / LENDING)

Salary range: up to Php 75,000 Philippine Peso (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm NZDT Time including 30 minutes for lunch (4am-12:30nn Philippine Standard Time)

Work set-up: 100% Remote work (Independent Contractor Agreement)

Holidays: New Zealand Public Holidays

A growing New Zealand-based financial services firm specialising in mortgage and lending solutions is seeking a Loan Processor (Mortgage / Lending) to support its expanding operations. The role focuses on managing loan applications, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination across clients, lenders, and internal systems to improve turnaround times and service quality. This is a process-driven opportunity suited for detail-oriented and reliable candidates who are eager to build a long-term career in financial services, with full training and structured support provided.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Loan Processing

  • Manage and process mortgage and lending applications from initiation to submission
  • Review loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Prepare application documents for lender submission
  • Track loan progress and follow up on outstanding conditions

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Communicate with clients to collect required documentation
  • Provide updates on application status and next steps
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and third parties to facilitate approvals and settlements

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and organised client files
  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards
  • Assist with AML/CFT checks and document verification

Operations & Administrative Support

  • Update and manage CRM systems and loan pipelines
  • Support pre-settlement and post-settlement processes
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to loan processing
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency

Systems & Tools

  • Experience with mortgage/lending platforms or CRM systems preferred
  • Familiarity with New Zealand FSG systems is an advantage but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Comfortable using cloud-based document management tools

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in mortgage processing, lending, banking, or financial services is an advantage
  • Background in administration, finance, or customer support is beneficial
