Join Ciena’s Digital Marketing team to create personalized and impactful digital experiences. As a Personalization and Optimization Specialist, you’ll play a key role in optimizing our platforms and driving user engagement.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Design, build, QA, and launch personalized experiences using Adobe Target and Marketo Engage to support campaign execution across digital touchpoints.
  • Analyze user behavior, audience segments, and performance data to uncover actionable insights that inform personalization strategies across digital channels (Email, Web, Chat).
  • Translate data driven insights into recommendations that improve how personalized experiences are delivered to key audience segments.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of personalization initiatives, continuously refining experiences based on data-driven learnings.
  • Manage multiple personalization initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure accurate measurement, reporting, and alignment with business goals.

The Must Haves:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Adobe Target or a similar web optimization tool (e.g. Optimizely or Google Optimize)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Target, including activity creation, QA, and publishing.
  • Strong understanding of A/B and multivariate testing methodologies and web optimization tactics.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign performance analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.

The Assets:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to support analysis and reporting of personalization performance
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo Engage) to support execution of personalized campaigns and audience segmentation
  • Experience with automation and scalable testing documentation.
  • Knowledge of emerging personalization technologies and trends.
  • Background in working with external vendors for digital campaign measurement.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for delivery issues and testing frameworks.
  • Experience in developing testing frameworks to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Having knowledge of the telecommunications or technology industry is a plus.

Pay Range:

The salary range for this role in Canada is: $57, 800 - $92, 300

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
