Summary: The Intern, Software Engineering will support the design, configuration, and delivery of business applications using the Appian low-code automation platform. Working as part of a small, cross functional Agile team, the intern will help execute the project backlog by building application components, supporting testing, and learning how to deliver software rapidly using modern low-code practices.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem solving, learning new technologies, and working across multiple disciplines such as user experience, business processes, data, and automation. Prior Appian experience is not required—curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn are far more important.

Under the guidance of experienced Appian developers and team leads, the intern will:
Qualifications/Education/Certifications:
Enrolled in (or recently completed) a Bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university; preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
