Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote - open to candidates worldwide, with preference for Europe or EMEA time zones
Reporting to Senior DevOps Engineer
Design and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Cloudflare.
Build CI/CD pipelines for safe, zero-downtime production deployments.
Improve monitoring and alerting to speed up incident response and recovery.
Manage all environments using modular, version-controlled Terraform (IaC).
Drive cost optimization, security hardening, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align tech with business goals.
Provide technical direction and contribute to major architectural decisions.
5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating production AWS infrastructure.
AWS Professional certification (Architect or DevOps) or equivalent expertise.
Experience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems at scale.
Strong Linux systems administration and advanced Bash scripting skills.
Deep knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices.
Proven experience with Terraform modules, state management, and CI workflows.
Experience with observability stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
Proficiency in Python or Node.js and experience tuning Nginx performance.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
Hands-on experience running containerized workloads on AWS ECS and Docker.
