About the Opportunity

Outsource Ability, on behalf of our client, is recruiting a high‑performance Social Media Content Creator (Content Operator) for a rapidly scaling men's personal development business based in Australia.

Our client operates in the personal development and coaching space, delivering transformational experiences through immersive in‑person retreats, online programs, high‑touch coaching, and exclusive mastermind environments.

Content is a critical growth engine for the business. It is designed to cut through noise, challenge conventional narratives, and move a highly defined audience toward decisive action.

You will work within a small, high‑performance team, closely collaborating with:

  • The Founder (final content approval), and
  • A Marketing Manager / Advisor (strategy oversight)

This role is responsible for executing, owning, and continuously improving the content system that drives reach, authority, and conversions.

Purpose of the Role

To produce and optimise high‑quality, strategically aligned content that expands reach, builds authority, and drives conversions into paid programs.

This is an outcome‑driven role. Content is judged by performance, not effort.

Key Outcomes (Non‑Negotiable)

  • Increased reach across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Improved quality of engagement (not vanity metrics)
  • Consistent production of high‑performing short‑ and long‑form content
  • Measurable contribution to leads and conversions
  • Consistent execution of an authentic brand voice and visual aesthetic
  • Ongoing improvement in content performance through testing and iteration

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Market Awareness

  • Analyse trends within the personal development and adjacent markets
  • Develop a deep understanding of the audience: pain points, desires, behaviours, and objections
  • Proactively recommend content strategies, formats, and themes aligned with the niche
  • Ensure all content aligns with business objectives and active offers

Content Creation

  • Produce short‑ and long‑form content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube (other platforms may include TikTok and LinkedIn)
  • Review long‑form content and extract high‑impact moments
  • Identify and develop strong hooks based on real performance data
  • Write hooks, captions, and CTAs for founder‑produced video and voiceover content
  • Develop thumbnails and visual packaging aligned with established brand standards

Editing & Production

  • High‑level video editing with strong pacing, structure, and retention in mind
  • Integrate relevant, brand‑aligned B‑roll effectively
  • Add subtitles and visual emphasis to improve watch time and comprehension
  • Use AI tools appropriately, including licence‑free music generation, without creative dependence

Platform Execution

  • Schedule and publish content via a social media scheduling platform (e.g. Metricool or equivalent)
  • Manage and utilise a structured library of existing video assets via cloud storage
  • Operate within a project management workflow covering ideation, drafting, revisions, and approval

Performance & Optimisation

  • Track and analyse core content performance metrics
  • Identify recurring patterns in high‑performing content
  • Continuously refine output based on data and feedback
  • Test new formats, hooks, structures, and creative approaches

Community Engagement

  • Support and execute comment engagement strategies
  • Respond to audience comments and inbound messages using automation tools where relevant
  • Contribute to the development of an active, engaged audience community

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Communication - High standard of written and verbal communication. Native‑level English preferred
  • Strategy - Strong understanding of content that drives attention, trust, and conversion
  • Content Creation - Proven ability to identify high‑impact moments from long‑form content
  • Video Editing - Advanced editing capability with a focus on engagement, retention, and conversion
  • Graphic Design - Ability to create clean, effective thumbnails and visual assets
  • Copywriting - Strong persuasive writing skills with excellent command of English
  • AI & Tools - Competent use of AI tools while maintaining independent creative thinking

Mandatory Remote Work Requirements

As this is a fast‑paced remote position, candidates must have:

  • Their own laptop and headset, capable of running productivity and marketing software efficiently.
  • A reliable power supply (solar, UPS, or inverter) to ensure uninterrupted workflow — load‑shedding cannot be used as an excuse for missed deadlines.
  • A stable, high‑speed internet connection, suitable for cloud‑based applications and real‑time communication.
