Job Title: APAC Localization Lead – Digital Core Phase 1
Function: Finance Transformation / ERP Program
Reports To: Global Design Lead / R2R Track Lead
Role Summary :
The APAC Localization Lead will own statutory, tax, and regulatory localization requirements for APAC countries within GE HealthCare’s Digital Core Phase 1 (Oracle Fusion + SAP PDx coexistence) program.
This role ensures all APAC country requirements are delivered using standard Oracle Fusion capabilities while maintaining alignment with the Global Template and minimizing customization risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end localization design for APAC countries (e.g., China, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, ANZ, SEA).
Validate local GAAP, tax (GST/VAT/WHT), statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Define and confirm:
Primary and secondary ledger setup
Functional currency alignment
Fiscal calendar requirements
Statutory reporting needs
Ensure compliance with e-invoicing and local tax mandates.
Conduct localization fit-gap analysis aligned to Global Design principles.
Prevent unnecessary customizations and enforce template governance.
Coordinate with R2R, Tax, Intercompany, Treasury, FAH, A2R, Coupa, and SAP PDx teams.
Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare for APAC entities.
Identify and mitigate cross-ERP integration risks during phased deployments.
Provide APAC go-live readiness certification and post-go-live statutory close support.
Qualifications & Experience:
ERP finance implementation experience.
Strong Oracle Fusion Financials expertise (GL, AP, AR, Tax, FA, Intercompany).
Deep knowledge of APAC statutory and tax requirements.
Experience in multi-country ERP rollouts.
Understanding of secondary ledger design and cross-ERP integration.
Strong stakeholder management and governance skills.
Success Measures
Zero regulatory non-compliance at go-live.
On-time APAC Wave deployment.
Clean ledger and COA alignment with Global Template.
Minimal custom development.
Successful first statutory close post-implementation.
