Job description

What you’ll do

Process with precision

  • Handle remittance transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Perform KYC checks and verify all customer documentation
  • Count, verify, and manage cash with strict attention to detail
  • Ensure all transactions meet regulatory and compliance standards

Protect what matters

  • Identify and escalate suspicious or fraudulent activity
  • Monitor transaction limits in line with central bank regulations
  • Safeguard cash, systems, and customer information at all times

Deliver great customer experiences

  • Assist customers with forms and explain services clearly
  • Support customers through the transaction process with confidence
  • Promote Mukuru products and services where relevant

Keep operations running smoothly

  • Perform daily cash ups and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure the booth is clean, organised, and secure
  • Conduct daily security checks and maintain visitor logs

What you bring

  • Grade 12 (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 year experience in the financial sector
  • Knowledge of foreign currencies, FICA, and compliance processes
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
