About the Role


Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and motivated Wash Bay Operator / Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Tennyson, QLD on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role responsible for cleaning and maintaining our fleet to ensure vehicles are safe, presentable, and ready for daily operations. You’ll play a key part in supporting operational efficiency while maintaining high safety and presentation standards.

The role operates on a Monday to Friday roster with 5:00am starts, with Saturday work available. We are particularly seeking candidates with flexibility to work Saturday shifts when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and maintain company vehicles to a high standard

  • Conduct basic inspections and report any damage or maintenance issues

  • Keep the wash bay area and equipment clean, organised, and safe

  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements

  • Assist with vehicle preparation as required by operations

  • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and any issues identified

About You

  • Experience in vehicle washing, detailing, or fleet maintenance (preferred but not essential)

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

  • Commitment to safety and ability to follow procedures

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

  • Physically fit and capable of manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing)

  • Able to work early starts (5:00am) and flexible to work Saturday shifts when required
