Job description

At Team Global Express, we’re driven by performance, safety, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes. We’re seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead frontline operations at our Melbourne Airport site.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring safety, service performance (DIFOT), and team engagement while driving productivity and continuous improvement across your area.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise operational teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery

  • Coordinate daily workflows, resources, and labour to meet KPIs and customer requirements

  • Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility obligations

  • Manage performance, attendance, and development of team members

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to boost productivity and efficiency

  • Act as the first point of contact for operational and customer queries

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless operational outcomes

About You

  • Proven experience in a frontline leadership role within transport, logistics, or a similar environment

  • Strong understanding of operational KPIs, cost control, and productivity management

  • Sound knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements (WHS, CoR, etc.)

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
