Android App Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android App Developer to support the stabilization and further development of an existing mobile application that is currently facing compatibility issues due to a newer Android version (API / APK updates). Your primary task will be to analyze, fix, and adapt the application to ensure full functionality on the latest Android versions. In addition, you will contribute to improving the app’s architecture and preparing it for future updates.

• Strong experience in Android development (Kotlin / Java and/or Xamarin)
  
• Proven track record in resolving Android version compatibility issues (API level changes, SDK updates, APK adjustments)
  
• Experience with debugging, refactoring, and maintaining legacy mobile applications
  
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and lifecycle
  
• Familiarity with API integrations and backend communication
  
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges
  
• Nice to have: A background in migrating applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI is a strong plus, as parts of the system may require modernization or restructuring at a later stage.

• Duration: At least one month, possibly more. Even longer, if you continue working on the migration from Xamarin to Maui.
