Director, IT Business Systems -SAP S4/HANA
Curtiss-Wright is searching for an experienced Director of IT Business Systems to lead the SAP S4/HANNA ERP implementation across Curtiss-Wright Corporation globally.
Reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for leading a group that develops and supports SAP S4/HANA ERP application for multiple business units across Curtiss-Wright globally. Driven by business goals the Director will be responsible for all aspects of ERP application delivery and will be responsible for coordinating resources, projects and priorities, proven track record of managing complex SAP implementations, teams, and vendor relationships, platform infrastructure and licensing, and alignment with Company initiatives and policy. Evaluates and recommends changes to current & future ERP system requirements to meet organizational needs. Responsible for an internal COE budget including team salaries, expenses, professional development, internal and external support teams.
LOCATION: remote (US or Canada)
SALARY: $200,000 - $230,000 plus short and long term incentives

Your Challenge:
Develop and execute the SAP S/4HANA strategy, aligning with business objectives and IT vision.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure SAP S/4HANA solutions meet business requirements.
Establish and maintain a Center of Excellence (CoE) for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring best practices, standards, and governance.
Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and ROI analysis for SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
Provide technical leadership for SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
Ensure SAP S/4HANA solutions are optimized for performance, security, and compliance.
Stay up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA roadmap, new features, and innovations.
Lead and manage a team of SAP professionals, including developers, analysts, and support staff.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Develop and execute talent management plans, including training, mentoring, and succession planning.
Manage relationships with SAP and third-party vendors, ensuring effective partnerships and contract negotiations.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and services to enhance SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
Lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure SAP S/4HANA solutions comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain IT standards, guidelines, and best practices for SAP S/4HANA.
What you Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
Minimum 20 years of experience in SAP, with at least 10 years in a management role.
Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
Experience in SAP S4/HANA Development, Business Analysis, developing project cost estimates, recruiting employees and consultants.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform, or other cloud-based solutions.
Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
Proven organizational and team building track record particularly with building high performance teams.
Strong business process/systems implementation and project management experience.
Excellent relationship building, communication and presentation skills with the ability to present and translate complex information to internal staff and management in relevant business terms.
Strong understanding of financial and supply chain operational process flows (i.e., order to cash, procure to pay, record to report), both conceptually and within the SAP S4/HANA product.
Ability to influence and drive change
SAP S/4HANA certification (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of the following: MS SQL, MS Project, .NET, Citrix/2x, VMWARE, Windows Server, WAN/Internet, Cloud Technologies, Process Automation, Training, Applications integration with ERP, BI/Reporting.
