Position Overview
CORA Loyalty is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support financial operations, reporting, and strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong accounting fundamentals, advanced data capabilities, and a passion for leveraging technology and AI tools to drive efficiency and accuracy.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of day-to-day accounting experience, financial analysis expertise, and process optimization mindset, with the ability to manage high-volume data environments and complex reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Accounting
· Own and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
· Maintain and oversee General Ledger (GL) activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
· Perform high-volume account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and driving resolution
· Support and manage billing, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP) processes
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
Financial Analysis & Reporting
· Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and performance tracking
· Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports
· Analyze trends, variances, and key drivers across revenue, costs, and cash flow
· Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
Treasury & Banking
· Support banking and treasury functions, including cash management, forecasting, and liquidity analysis
· Monitor and reconcile cash accounts and transactions across multiple systems
Data, Systems & Process Optimization
· Leverage ERP systems and accounting platforms to manage financial data efficiently
· Utilize technology and AI tools to automate workflows, improve reporting speed, and enhance accuracy
· Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement scalable solutions
· Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· Big 4 public accounting experience
· Strong hands-on experience with:
o General Ledger (GL) management
o Month-end close ownership
o Billing, AR, and AP processes
o High-volume data reconciliation
· Experience in banking/treasury functions
· 5–8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
· ERP/Accounting systems experience (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, etc.)
· Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
Preferred
· Experience using automation, data tools, or AI-driven solutions to improve workflows
· Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
· CPA or progress toward certification
