[Job-28699] Master Backend (C# / .NET) Brazil

For this challenge, we are looking for a senior backend engineering professional to help evolve scalable solutions, support business growth, enable multi-brand operations, and ensure the sustainable evolution of the platform.

This person will also play an important role in strengthening internal ownership through technical excellence, architectural vision, and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and evolve scalable backend microservices and integrations using .NET 8/9 and ASP.NET Core
Own end-to-end technical solutions, making decisions and trade-offs across performance, scalability, resilience, and cost
Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, following CQRS and Clean Architecture principles
Build and maintain event-driven and asynchronous processing solutions using Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions
Lead data modeling and performance optimization in Azure SQL and Entity Framework Core
Define and promote engineering standards, reusable patterns, and shared components
Apply secure-by-design practices using Azure Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, and JWT
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and support containerized deployments
Improve observability and production reliability using Application Insights and OpenTelemetry
Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support production excellence in distributed systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, influencing technical direction and contributing to architecture discussions
Support knowledge sharing and help raise the overall engineering bar across the team

Requirements for this challenge:

Strong experience with C# and .NET, ideally .NET 8/9 and ASP.NET Core, in production environments
Solid experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures
Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing
Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions
Advanced English
Advanced experience with Azure SQL and Entity Framework Core, including performance tuning and data modeling
Hands-on experience with Clean Architecture, CQRS, and DDD
Strong understanding of concurrency, threading, memory management, and performance optimization in .NET
Experience with Docker, cloud-native deployments, and modern DevOps practices
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Experience with Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, and production diagnostics
Proven ability to debug and resolve issues in complex distributed systems

Nice to have:

Experience working with both modern microservices and legacy .NET systems
Familiarity with advanced messaging patterns such as idempotency, retries, and eventual consistency
Experience contributing to modernization and platform evolution initiatives
Hands-on experience with Azure Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and identity/security integrations
Exposure to observability-driven development and SLO/SLA practices
