Job Title: Network Engineer- 7 Yrs Experience

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with 7+ years of expertise to lead and operate enterprise network infrastructure across office, studio, datacenter, and cloud environments. This role requires deep technical ownership of network security, Zero Trust architecture, Zscaler platforms, vulnerability remediation, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Operations Leadership

●        Lead the maintenance and upgrades of network devices, Wi‑Fi platforms, and Zscaler services to ensure resilience and security.

●        Play a key role in the design, build, and expansion of Dropbox office and studio network infrastructure.

●        Act as escalation point for complex network and end-user connectivity issues.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

●        Own patch and firmware compliance, ensuring ≥99% compliance across network infrastructure.

●        Drive remediation of critical network vulnerabilities within defined SLAs.

●        Define and enforce secure configuration baselines aligned with CIS and industry best practices.

Zero Trust & Zscaler Expertise

●        Lead implementation and operational excellence of Zero Trust architectures.

●        Own operational management and troubleshooting for:

o   ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX

●        Drive policy design, App Connector health optimization, advanced log analysis, and performance tuning.

●        Independently troubleshoot complex authentication, identity, and access flow issues.

Security Automation & Tooling

●        Design, develop, and maintain Network automation scripts and workflow enhancements using Ansible and Terraform

●        Build cloud network infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform

Documentation, Runbooks & Reporting

●        Lead development and maintenance of network runbooks, recovery procedures, and operational documentation.

●        Provide monthly and ad-hoc reporting on network availability, performance, security posture, and trends.

●        Identify reliability and scalability gaps and recommend continuous improvements.

Technical Skills & Experience

Advanced Networking Expertise

●        Strong expertise in:

o   BGP and OSPF (design and troubleshooting)

o   TCP/IP protocol stack and packet-level analysis

o   Troubleshoot ISP Circuits

o   Secure VPN and hybrid connectivity models

Infrastructure & Platforms

●        Extensive hands-on experience with:

○   Enterprise firewalls (Juniper, AWS Firewall)

○   Routers, switches (Juniper)

○   Aruba wireless solutions

Automation:

●        Proficiency in following IaC tools

○   Ansible

○   Terraform

●        Incident Management and Troubleshooting Network Incidents

●        Proficiency in Git and modern version control workflow

Monitoring & Hybrid Troubleshooting

●        Deep operational experience with Datadog, Kentik, and Cribl.

●        Proven ability to troubleshoot office-to-cloud, datacenter, and hybrid network environments at scale.
