At Workiva, you’ll bring technology to market that executives, boards, and regulators depend on. If you’re energized by meaningful problems, inspired by smart, collaborative teammates, and motivated to help the world’s most complex organizations lead with trust, come join us!

Position Overview

Workiva is looking for an exceptional Vice President of Product Marketing to define and tell the story of how our platform is transforming the way organizations manage their most critical data, reporting, and decisions.

This leader will shape the market narrative for Workiva’s portfolio of products and solutions, articulating why the world’s leading companies rely on Workiva to power transparency and performance across finance, sustainability, and GRC. A central part of this role will be helping the market understand the profound impact of Workiva A and how AI is redefining how modern teams analyze data, manage risk, drive compliance, and lead their organizations.

Leading a global team of 20+ product marketers, the VP of Product Marketing sits at the critical intersection of product, marketing, and sales. You will translate innovation into compelling stories, help shape product strategy through market insight, and equip our go-to-market teams with the messaging and assets they need to build pipeline and win.

This is a highly strategic leadership role for someone who thrives on building teams, shaping markets, and bringing transformative technology to life for customers.

  • Lead the storytelling around how Workiva AI is transforming how finance, sustainability, and GRC leaders operate

  • Craft compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with enterprise buyers and clearly differentiates Workiva in competitive markets

Lead and Scale a World-Class Product Marketing Team

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a global team of 20–25 product marketing professionals

  • Build a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, and high performance

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop exceptional product marketing talent, helping the team grow in influence and impact across the company

Drive Category-Leading Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Own product marketing strategy across Workiva’s portfolio of solutions

  • Partner closely with product management to translate innovation into compelling launches, narratives, and market momentum

  • Ensure our go-to-market strategy connects product innovation with the buyers who need it most

Enable Revenue Growth

  • Arm the global sales organization with the insights, messaging, and tools needed to build pipeline and close deals

  • Deliver world-class sales enablement, including playbooks, competitive intelligence, buyer insights, and differentiated value frameworks

  • Partner closely with revenue leadership to improve win rates and accelerate growth

Connect Product, Marketing, and the Market

  • Operate at the nexus of product, marketing, and sales, ensuring alignment from product strategy through market execution

  • Collaborate with demand generation, brand, content, and field marketing to ensure Workiva’s product story reaches and resonates with the right audiences

  • Bring deep customer and market insight back into product strategy to help shape the future of the platform
