Bilingual Subrogation Manager - U.S. Personal Injury Law

Location: Remote (Colombia)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Colombia Time)

5+ years of subrogation, lien resolution, or PI case management experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience required. Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Subrogation Manager to lead our subrogation department, overseeing lien recovery and claims resolution for personal injury cases. You will manage a team of subrogation specialists, handle complex cases involving Medicare, Medi-Cal, VA, and private insurance, and drive compliance and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee identification, management, and resolution of liens related to personal injury cases.
• Manage the entire subrogation process from claim investigation to recovery.
• Review and validate medical bills, liens, and claims for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of subrogation specialists.
• Lead negotiations with medical providers, government agencies, and insurers to reduce liens.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including Medicare Secondary Payer guidelines.
• Provide regular reports on subrogation activities, recovery metrics, and team performance.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in subrogation, lien resolution, or personal injury case management.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, VA, and private insurance subrogation.
• Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in legal and medical billing software.
