Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Client Success, the Direct of Digital & Program Innovation serves as the business line lead for digital and technology-enabled initiatives within key client accounts. The role ensures innovation initiatives transition from concept to pilot and then full implementation in a disciplined, scalable manner, embedding solutions seamlessly into existing workflows to drive operational efficiency.
We are seeking a Direct of Digital & Program Innovation to partner closely with Product, Pharmacy Operations, Data & Insights, and Client Success. The Director champions digital growth by translating emerging technologies into practical, workflow-ready solutions that deliver measurable impact. This position plays a key role in supporting key client accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the design and implementation of client digital and technology-enabled solutions, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to automate critical workflows such as Prior Authorization (PA) and electronic Benefits Verification (eBV)
- Champions innovations that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and patient and provider experience across direct-to-consumer pharmacy and patient support programs
- Transitions client pilots into scalable, production-ready programs by aligning product capabilities with pharmacy operations and client workflows
- Drives alignment of digital workflow optimization and automation roadmaps across key client initiatives
- Maintains structured governance over innovation timelines, integration milestones, and delivery execution
- Collaborates with Product, Engineering, Pharmacy Operations, Data & Insights, and Client Success teams to operationalize innovation and align technology initiatives with business and commercialization goals
- Monitors adoption, performance, and compliance of digital solutions, partnering with Client Success and analytics teams to ensure regulatory integrity and drive continuous optimization and expansion
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, technology, or related field (Required)
- MBA or advanced degree (Preferred)
- Licensure/Certification: None
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience across pharmacy operations, digital health platforms, or tech-enabled healthcare services (Required)
- Experience working with digital pharmacy fulfillment or direct-to-consumer healthcare platforms, including translating client and partner needs into scalable operational solutions (Required)
- Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Success teams to operationalize technology-enabled healthcare programs in high-growth environments (Required)
- Experience scaling digital programs in regulated environments (Required)
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturer programs, patient support services, or pharmacy-enabled patient access initiatives (Preferred)
- Experience in specialty pharmacy or HUB-adjacent digital environments (Preferred)
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of digital healthcare or DTC pharmacy operating models and commercial financial literacy (Required)
- Knowledge of payer workflows, Prior Authorization (PA), electronic Benefits Verification (eBV), or patient support program operations (Preferred)
- High level cross-functional leadership and influence skills (Required)
- Strategic thinking with execution rigor skills (Required)
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (Required)
- Strong time management and governance modeling skills (Required)
- Ability to align technology capabilities with business objectives (Required)

Work Environment
- Location: Remote
- Schedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required to support launches and digital deployments
- Regular meetings with Product, Client Success, Pharmacy Operations, and Data & Insights
Key Essential Functions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while writing or reviewing documentation
- Must be able to work on a computer for the entire shift
- Must be able to attend virtual meetings with cross-functional teams
