At Encore, we’re looking for a Field Marketing Specialist who isn’t just a marketer—but a content creator, storyteller, relationship builder, and growth partner to our animal hospitals. This role lives at the intersection of creativity and strategy, where your ideas don’t just look good, they drive real results

 

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Capture real moments—photos, videos, behind-the-scenes content that reflects each hospital’s personality 
  • Create scroll-stopping content for social, recruiting, and local marketing 
  • Help hospitals attract new clients through creative, data-informed campaigns that actually convert 
  • Build meaningful local partnerships—like bringing a Practice Manager to a shelter to create relationships that make a real community impact 
  • Support initiatives that strengthen client loyalty, retention, and lifetime value 
  • Bring each hospital’s brand to life—highlighting their people, culture, and community impact 

 

Who You Are 

You’re the kind of person who can walk into a busy animal hospital and instantly read the room. You know when to step in, when to step back, and how to make people feel comfortable—even with a camera in hand. 

  • You have experience working inside a veterinary hospital and understand the environment firsthand 
  • You’re a natural storyteller who understands audiences (pet parents and veterinary professionals) 
  • You’re creative but grounded—you can dream big and execute even better 
  • You’re emotionally intelligent—you build trust quickly and communicate with empathy 
  • You’re self-driven—you don’t wait to be told what to do 
  • You’re adaptable—because no two hospitals (or days) look the same 

 

Your Toolkit 

  • Canva, graphic design, and video editing wizard-level skills 
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to shift tone depending on the audience 
  • Comfortable using data and performance metrics to guide decisions 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders without dropping the ball 

 

The Reality Check 

This role includes approximately 25% travel, typically 1–2 two-night trips per month to support practices in person. You’ll balance remote work with time onsite—because the best stories (and strategies) happen when you’re there. 

It’s fast-paced, people-heavy, and sometimes unpredictable—but that’s where the magic happens.
