Job description

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Representative provides administrative and operational support for HR programs and employee lifecycle events. This role serves as a point of contact for regional managers, assisting with the practical application of local employment practices in accordance with corporate guidelines. Partnering with the Sr. HRBP, the incumbent coordinates with international payroll partners, processes global mobility documentation, and helps resolve cross-border HR inquiries. Salary $74,700k-$87,881k

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Leave of Absence and Time Off Management: Administer the end-to-end interactive process for leave intersections (ex. PDL/CFRA/FMLA or regional equivalent) and also administer the international vacation tracker to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • HRIS Strategy & Analytics: Oversee the integrity of the HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors). Maintain accurate employee files, manage data entry, and design HR reports.
  • Recruitment & Talent Strategy: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned departments. This includes drafting specialized job descriptions, researching market data, recommending compensation, and developing sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent.
  • Mileage and Expense Reimbursement Management: Manage the company mileage reimbursement program through Motus and coordinate annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews for authorized drivers to ensure compliance with insurance and risk management requirements. 
  • Employee Engagement Programs: Participate in culture-building initiatives, such as recognition programs and professional development workshops, tailored to a assigned workforce.
  • Onboarding & Lifecycle Management: Lead new hire orientation activities and ensure all required notices and trainings are completed. Design and facilitate a unified "One Company" onboarding experience that resonates with remote international hires and US employees while respecting local customs.
  • Policy Globalizations: Audit and adapt US-based HR policies for cross-regional use, ensuring they are culturally appropriate and legally enforceable in specific regions.
  • Cross-Border Employee Relations: Partner with HRBP to assist with investigations and grievances within cross-regional teams, navigating cultural nuances and diverse communication styles.

Special Requirements/Certification:

PHR certification desirable.

 

GUIDELINES (ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

  • Hands on experience with HRIS like Success Factors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strict attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and process sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Critical thinking skills, and ability to proactively research and trouble shoot when obstacles arise.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working onsite within a medium to large sized organization.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with a working understanding of Human Resource principles, practices and procedures.
