Primary Responsibilities:

The AP Coordinator at Northwood Ravin handles the daily accounting and accounts payable duties for several apartment operating entities. The duties include, but are not limited to, accounts payable, journal entry preparation, monthly accruals, daily cash management, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement preparation and special projects as needed. This person will also be responsible for accounts payable for operating properties including, but not limited to, reviewing and entering invoices, and printing and mailing checks. 

As an AP Coordinator, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Accounts payable for development and construction projects and where needed
  • Process Weekly Invoices into Timberscan and Timberline
  • Process Development Owner Draws and Construction Invoices/Pay Applications monthly
  • Process checks for weekly and monthly funding packages
  • Process expense reports, petty cash, and credit card entries
  • Research statements and outstanding invoices
  • Review and process closeout payments for construction projects
  • File processed checks
  • Support Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required

What you bring to the role: 

  • 3 to 5 years related AP experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Excel or equivalent spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of Procore, Sage/Timberline accounting system software, Bluebeam, and Docusign preferred
  • Attention to detail is mandatory
  • Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from subcontractors, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required
