Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Monitor cash balances and prepare wire transfers
  • Prepare monthly operating financials for Residential properties (Operating Statements, Balance 
  • Sheets, Statements of Cash Flows)
  • Calculate monthly or quarterly distributions 
  • Balance Sheet/ Trial Balance reconciliations with month end close
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Security Deposit Refund tracking
  • Edit and approve AP for each entity weekly
  • Record monthly depreciation and amortization schedules
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages for 3rd party owners
  • Prepare development draws
  • Prepare and enter journal entries
  • Prepare development month end packages
  • Calculate sales & use tax 
  • OPS AP invoice audit daily as needed

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, real estate accounting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
