Location: Remote (Philippines)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM (Philippine Time)

Type: Contracted | Full-Time

3+ years of experience in a U.S. personal injury law firm or legal outsourcing environment required. Prior demand writing or supervisory experience required.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Demands Team Lead to manage our growing Demand Department. You will supervise Demand Writers and Assistants, provide quality control on demand letters, coach team members, and coordinate with client-side managers to ensure deliverables meet expectations. This is a leadership role for someone with strong experience in personal injury demand workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of Demand Writers and Assistants, overseeing performance, workload, and training.
  • Review and approve demand letters for accuracy, completeness, tone, and legal strategy.
  • Monitor demand timelines and ensure all deliverables meet deadlines.
  • Audit files to ensure supporting documentation is properly included and labeled.
  • Collaborate with client-side leadership on feedback, expectations, and alignment.
  • Implement and enforce department SOPs for formatting, tone, timelines, and documentation.
  • Identify training needs and create coaching plans for underperforming team members.
  • Track department KPIs and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a U.S. personal injury law firm or legal outsourcing environment.
  • Prior experience writing or supervising demand letters in pre-litigation PI.
  • Strong knowledge of California PI case flow (or similar jurisdictions).
  • Excellent English communication and editing skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with Filevine or similar case management platforms is a plus.
