The Company
Cammax are a dynamic and rapidly growing SME in the transport and parking sectors, producing innovative self-service ticket and payment systems, associated software, and services.
Cammax designs and manufactures touch screen kiosks at its purpose built factory in Castleford. We have a range of standard kiosks and also produce bespoke designs. We develop the software applications and customise kiosk hardware and peripherals as required. Cammax employs a nationwide team of engineers who carry out site surveys, system installation and comprehensive on-site maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Placing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Monitoring stock levels and forecasting demand.
Maintaining accurate purchasing data, updating ERP/MRP systems, and processing invoices.
Researching and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost rather than just price.
Identifying potential supply chain disruptions and developing mitigation strategies.
Communicating with suppliers regarding order status, quality issues, or shortages.
Be proactive in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Providing administrative support to the purchasing team to maintain efficient operational flow.
Cover and support roles performed by other members of the finance team during busy periods/annual leave.
Take on company-wide finance tasks as allocated from time to time.
Assist in monthly and year end management/financial accounts.
Ad hoc financial analysis in support of the preparation of management accounts.
Assist and support the quarterly forecast process.
Develop and improve finance and project systems.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Experience in a similar purchasing role is essential.
Experience of negotiating, securing favourable terms, prices, and delivery schedules while maintaining positive supplier relationships is essential.
Finance experience including assistance and support towards monthly and year end accounts, and ad-hoc financial analysis would be advantageous.
Experience with a purchase management system as well as Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar email system) is essential.
Experience with Xero and NetSuite is desirable.
