Roles & Responsibilities

Canada-based and currently 100% freelance for at least three years (or professional fractional/contractor).
Minimum three years of ongoing freelance experience with a portfolio or work samples.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Front-end development, Marketing strategy, Writing, Design, Social Media, or Product.
No hobbyists or juniors; must be intermediate, senior, or elite specialists able to collaborate with clients and other talents.

Requirements:

Provide freelance services in your discipline to The Well's clients and deliver high-quality work on agreed timelines.
Maintain and showcase a strong portfolio and up-to-date resume to reflect recent projects.
Collaborate with Advisory Managers, clients, and other talents within The Well to scope, plan, and execute projects.
Represent your own business professionally, communicating clearly and adhering to The Well's standards and processes.

Job description

We're thriving. And as such, we're looking to add to our professional roster of freelancers and contractors in Canada. Over the last 8 years, companies throughout Canada have come to trust The Well to provide them with the right people at the right time. Covid and the economy have only accelerated that need, and The Well was perfectly positioned to help. We're now looking to add to our already awesome roster of people. The things we do ask for are:

need to be located in Canada
Must currently be 100% freelance and have been for at least three years - or -
Are a professional fractional/contractor

We are looking for freelancers and contractors in the following areas:

Front end developers (all tech stacks)
Marketing Strategists (traditional, digital, etc)
Writers (content creation, long copy, pr, ad copy, etc)
Designers (web design, product design, UX/UI, graphic design, etc)
Social Media (strategists, content creators, writers, demand generation, etc.)
Product (management, design, analytics, research, etc)

Please provide a resume that highlights your professional freelance experience for at least the last three years, along with a portfolio of your work (if appropriate) and one of our Advisory Managers will get back to you if you look to be a good fit for The Well.

About The Well

Our project talent pool is made up entirely of career, Canadian freelancers and consultants who have at minimum run their own business for three-years. There are no hobbyists. No first timers. No moonlighters. No juniors. Only intermediate, senior and elite Specialists who are both good at their craft and have a proven ability to be able to work with clients and other talents in The Well.
