Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience resolving technical problems and troubleshooting in a client/server environment, including Windows Desktop OS and Windows Server 2016 to present

Requirements:

  • Provide Tier I and II technical support and resolve client technology issues in Windows, networking, cloud, and virtualization environments.
  • Collaborate with project engineering, client services, management, and third-party vendors to coordinate issue resolution and service delivery.
  • Perform timely and accurate scheduled maintenance and service tasks as defined for each client, with thorough documentation.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and billable hours; participate in on-call rotation and travel to client sites as required.

Working hours

Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm AZ

Rotation on-call required, occasional after hours

 

Location and travel requirements

Hybrid: Typically two days travel to client sites within the Phoenix, AZ metro (spread mainly east metro however some clients are NW to SW metro), Work from home is available for 3 days while handling service desk tickets.  (Number of days on-site may vary depending on client needs).


Note: This position has a high potential to become a full-time on-site field engineer as we grow our Phoenix client base. Please apply with that in mind.

Who you are

Proactive and independent technical expert who performs a variety of tier I and tier II technical support responsibilities, requiring a thorough working knowledge of information technology and infrastructure administration. You are a skilled communicator on all levels. Your meticulous attention to detail is shown through your timekeeping, documentation, and execution of the technical work. 

  • Must maintain a current and valid driver's license.
  • Industry certifications(CompTIA A+ / Networking, M365 Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals),bachelor's degree in computer Engineer, Computer Science, Information Systems are highly desirable.
  • Accountable for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and billable hours.

You know how to: 

  • Work closely with project engineering, client services team, management team, and 3rd party vendors to resolve client’s technology issues 
  • Respond and perform timely and accurate scheduled maintenance and service tasks as defined for individual clients 

Technology working knowledge: 

  • Experience resolving technical problems and troubleshooting in a client/server environment
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Windows Server 2016 to present
  • Workstation/Server Hardware
  • Peripheral Devices including Printers, Scanners, etc.
  • Networking including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.
  • Cloud-Based and Virtualization Technologies
  • Common Client/Server Applications including Microsoft 365, Adobe, etc.
  • Windows 10 / 11
  • Networking Technologies
  • Server/PC Hardware Diagnostics
  • Microsoft 365 Provisioning and Support
  • Cloud-Based and Virtualization Technologies
  • MSP applications like ConnectWise, LabTech, and IT Glue desirable

 


Pay and Benefits:   

This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely with some travel.  

Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $36 - $40 per hour, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.  Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)

 Interview Stage - We’ll dive into your experience more in depth

  • One-hour Introduction and Hiring Manager interview 
  • Two-hour technical lab to assessment taken from home
  • 30-minute interview with the client POC
  • You are welcome to request additional conversations with team members you didn’t get to meet during the process
